Description:

This five-member board acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council on library related issues.  Specific duties include:

  • Review and make recommendations on the Library Sub-Element of the General Plan.
  • Assess community conditions which affect Library goals and policies.
  • Review and make recommendations regarding agreements with outside groups and recommend funding allocations.

Meeting Schedule:

Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Library Program Room.  If the first Monday is a City observed holiday, the meeting will be held on the second Monday of the month in the Library Program Room.
