Meetings are held only as necessary, on the third Monday of each month at 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
Meeting agendas, reports and minutes will be available on Legistar, the City's Agenda Management System.
This five-member board acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council and city manager in matters pertaining to personnel administration. Specific duties include:
Hear appeals of any employee in the Classified Service who is reclassified, suspended, demoted, or terminated, and report its finding to the City Council and City Manager; the findings and conclusions of the Personnel Board are final and no appeal may be taken.
After a public hearing, recommend to the City Council the adoption, amendment or repeal of the Civil Service Rules and Regulations.
Perform such other duties with respect to personnel administration, not inconsistent with the City Charter, as the City Council may require by ordinance.
