Large overview picture of block one (located at Mathilda Avenue & Washington Avenue) in progress.  The rebar towers, soon to be support columns for the underground parking structure, are supported by wood and concrete. 

Large overview picture of block two, (located on Mathilda Avenue & Iowa Avenue) in progress.  The dark grey patches on the base of the underground parking garages are the layered blocks of rebar that will be filled with cement to make a solid base that is designed to withstand an earthquake by "floating" on the surface of the Earth.

The framework is coming up on block 2.  More manpower is needed to "water-proof" or ready the underground parking structure for the upcoming rainy season.

This is a picture of McKinley Avenue.  Dirt and cement will be poured so that the street level matches the base of the fire hydrant.
