Large excavators drill, dig, and transport rubble into a pile, where it is ground down into small pieces which can be used for future construction plans.

The vast difference between the large chunks of rubble and the fine rock piles can easily be seen.

Bulldozers and front loaders push and take away dirt as the sub-ground-level parking structure construction is about to take place.

Macy's and the surrounding streets remain open and active while construction progresses nearby.
