As an entitlement jurisdiction under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Sunnyvale is required to affirmatively further fair housing and complete an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, or fair housing assessment, every three to five years as part of the required Consolidated Plan process.
