The One-Stop Permit Center, established in 1985, is the first of its kind, providing fast and convenient development related services including obtaining permits, licenses, information of developing properties and operating businesses in Sunnyvale. The One-Stop Center is supported by a City Staff team with members from the Community Development, Public Works and Public Safety Departments. The team effort by all of these departments results in fast and convenient services. Some of the services provided are:
· Coordinated customer contacts with appropriate staff representatives
· Related development services in a central location
· Streamlined permitting process
· Computerized land use information and building permit tracking system
· Plan checks and permit issuance combined in one location
