HUD Programs

This Division administers the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME).  Federal funds allocated to the City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  These funds are used to fund affordable housing projects, community development programs, and public services to benefit  primarily low- and moderate-income residents.

Notice of Public Review Period and Public Hearings for Consolidated Plan 2011-2012 Action Plan

This is to notify the general public and other interested parties that a 30-day public review period for the second Annual Action Plan of Sunnyvale’s 2010-15 Consolidated Plan  begins on April 8, 2011 and ends on May 9, 2011.  The draft Annual Action Plan describes the activities the City plans to undertake in Program Year 2011 using funds made available through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) Programs.  These activities are intended to meet Sunnyvale’s affordable housing and community development needs, as described in the Consolidated Plan.
