Ancient and mystical Arabic maqams sweep you up on a musical magic carpet ride. Virtuoso oud player and Arabic vocalist Naser Musa performs songs of Egypt, Iraq, Persia, Jordan and more. Musa is a nationally recognized Middle Eastern music scholar and frequent studio musician, who has performed on Beyonce’s Beautiful Liar CD and movie soundtracks including The Passion of the Christ, Body of Lies and Zohan. Musa is joined on stage by some of the Bay Area’s top Middle Eastern musicians and guest dancers.
