Local painting and drawing artists set aside time each week to work on their individual creative projects and socialize with other each other during Sunnyvale's Open Painting Studio sessions in the Creative Arts Center, located at the Sunnyvale Community Center, 550 E. Remington Drive. 

Sunnyvale's Painting Studio is a spacious facility with inspiring views of the pond and historic oak tree. The studio offers ample table space, great natural light, studio and bench easels and convenient water access. No formal instruction is provided, but camaraderie and encouragement from fellow artists is plentiful. Bring your own supplies.

Open Painting Studio hours are Mondays, 9 a.m.-Noon. The Painting Studio is closed on City holidays.

Sunnyvale's Open Painting Studio welcomes artists of all painting and drawing mediums, and all skill levels, ages 18 and up. Cost is $5, payable at the door. These prices are effective August 1, 2011.

We offer children's painting and drawing classes, and adult watercolor and calligraphy classes at other times.
