SMS After School Enrichment

This enrichment based program is open to student in grades 6-8currently attending Sunnyvale Middle School. (Home school students currently in grades 6-8 residing in Sunnyvale are welcome.) Registration is required.  Each session offers two class topics.

Class Times:  T/Th and W/F, from 3:20 - 4:50 p.m.
Location: Various rooms on the Sunnyvale Middle School Campus
Fee: Vary per enrichment topic and session
* Open to current Sunnyvale Middle School students only.

The Extreme Zone (E-Zone)

E-Zone is a DROP-IN program for middle school aged students. A safe and supervised hang out after school where teens can do homework, have a snack, and participate in cool recreational activities.  Activities include: Foosball, Nintendo Wii, arts & crafts, board games, and movie days as well as fun and exciting recreational games and contests.

Times:  M-F, 3:20-5:30pm
Location: Multi-Purpose room #1 (Sunnyvale Middle School Campus)
Fee: $4.00 per day or purchase a Quick Card for $80.00. Quick Card is good for 20 visits and expires on the last day of the current school year program.
* Open to current Sunnyvale Middle School students only.

Fun on the Run

Registration will occur on a first come, first served basis and is limited to the first 60 participants. Once the program is full, students will be placed on a wait list and not allowed to participate until notified there is a space available. If your child misses three consecutive days without notification, he or she will be removed from the program. Once registered, your children will be participating in our new fitness component, Just Run. They will earn miles with every activity they participate in, and will be able to track their earnings via the internet. More information will be sent home with your child. Note: your child will be participating in an active fitness and nutrition program.

K.L.A.S (Kids Learning After School)

The Community Services Division in partnership with the Sunnyvale School District provides after school programs, Monday through Friday at the following schools; Bishop, Ellis, Fairwood, Vargas and Lakewood.
