Temporary Closure of Restaurant and Bar

On December 15, 2014 the City of Sunnyvale terminated the license agreement with the Restaurant Operator for the running of the Vista Restaurants at the Sunnyvale and Sunken Gardens Golf Courses. The Restaurant Operator was removed for failure to comply with the terms of the agreement.

The City of is currently involved in a “Request for Proposals” process to identify and select a new vendor for the provision of food and beverage services. This process is likely to take several months, during which time the restaurants will remain closed. Additional information regarding the re-opening schedule will be posted as it becomes available. We apologize for the inconvenience, and will work as quickly as possible to secure new vendors and to re-open the facilities.

For further information, please contact Sunnyvale’s Golf and Tennis Manager, Mark Petersen at (408) 738-0813.

Sewer Upgrade at Sunken Gardens

Wolfe Road, beginning on June 1, 2015. The City is seeking to license each restaurant separately; however, consideration will be given to one entity being awarded both license agreements.
