Holiday Tree Recycling
You can recycle that cut holiday tree right where you live!
Prepare the tree as follows to ensure collection:
- Remove stands, light strands and decorations
- Cut tree trunks to no longer than four feet in length
- If you have single-family collection service, place at the curb on collection day, or inside yard carts if the lid can close.
- If you live in a multi-family community, place in a designated area, as determined by a property owner or manager. Collections will be done onsite until January 18, 2013. Trees can be dropped off at the SMaRT Station for a flat fee of $15 after the deadline.
