Did you know Americans generate 1.6 million tons of household hazardous waste (HHW) per year? One way to reduce and prevent pollution from HHW products, protect the health of your family, and preserve the environment is to use less toxic alternatives. Do not place hazardous waste or electronics in your garbage, recycling or yard waste carts.
Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Events are held every third Saturday monthly, January through November, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., 164 Carl Road, Sunnyvale. There is no charge to dispose of residential HHW.
