Free Water Use Surveys
Businesses located in Sunnyvale may be eligible to participate in this free water survey program. By appointment, a water conservation expert will inspect your business or facility for ways to save and conserve water, thereby helping you lower your monthly utility bill. Commercial Clothes Washer Rebate Program
The Santa Clara Valley Water District is offering rebates of up to $400 per unit on approved purchased and leased high-efficiency washing machines for common-area laundry rooms and laundromats. Commercial High Efficiency Toilet Program
The District is offering free installation of high-efficiency toilets to qualifying businesses and schools in Santa Clara County. Commercial, industrial and institutional sections may participate. Apartments may also participate. Toilets to be replaced must be tank-type, flushing at 3.5 gallons per flush or higher.
Water Efficient Technologies Program
The WET program offers up to $50,000 to commercial, industrial and institutional customers for the implementation of process and equipment changes that contribute to water savings. Please apply for this rebate before you begin your water efficiency project. Applications received after the project has been initiated will be rejected.
Landscape Replacement Rebates
Business properties with qualifying irrigated landscape can receive rebates for replacing high water using landscape, such as irrigated turf grass, with a minimum of 50 percent plant coverage consisting of low water using plants from the SCVWD Approved Plant List.
- Business Property and/or Multi-Family property with 5,000 sq ft or more of irrigated landscape are eligible for rebates of $.75 per square foot with a maximum of $20,000.
