Water Conservation Programs for Residents

Water Wise House Call

The Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD) offers free waster use audits where a technician will assess water use and make specific recommendations about how to save water and reduce water bills. Call (800) 548-1882 to schedule an appointment or go to http://www.valleywater.org/.

Residential High Efficiency Toilet Rebate Program (Preapproval required)

The SCVWD offers $125 rebate to Santa Clara County residents to replace old toilets that flush at a rate of 3.5 gpf or above. Rebates require pre-approval from Conservision by calling: (877) 874-8479.

Residential Washer Rebate Program

The SCVWD offers a rebate for qualifying water efficient washers. Currently, the SCVWD and PG & E offer a combined water and energy rebate for qualified models. Applicants can access a list of qualifying models, tier levels, and rebate amounts or can apply through the following link: http://www.waterenergysavings.com/ or call the Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD) Hotline at (408) 265-2607 ext. 2554 for more information.
