Technical Assistance Program (ITAP)

Businesses that have over 1 acre of irrigated landscape may participate. Auditors perform free site evaluations to assist property owners in better managing their water use. The site’s property manager receives a report that evaluates the existing irrigation system and landscape water management. The report also includes a plan to improve the site’s water-use efficiency.  

Irrigation System Hardware Rebate Program (ISHRP)

This program offers a rebate to upgrade irrigation systems of larger properties. Any resident, HOA, business, or commercial property with over one acre of irrigated landscape who has participated in ITAP may be eligible. ISHRP offers financial help on hardware costs which will help property owners increase their site’s irrigation efficiency. The rebate amount is 50 percent of the hardware costs (up to $4,000 per site) for implementing site-specific recommendations resulting from your participation in the Irrigation Technical Assistance Program (ITAP).  

Water Efficient Landscape Rebate Program (WELRP)

This program is designed to assist homeowners, commercial, industrial and institutional property owners by offering a rebate for replacing turf grass or high water using plants with low-water using plants (from the Approved Plant List) and/or permeable hardscape.
