Welcome to the City of Sunnyvale Human Resources Department. 

The Human Resources Department (HRD) coordinates services and programs which assist City departments in developing and maintaining a qualified, effective and diverse workforce of approximately 900 regular employees and as many as 500 temporary employees.  HRD also provides employment-related services to City employees, job applicants and City volunteers.
