The Library currently owns more than 11,000 music cds. CDs can be checked out for 3 weeks, and can be renewed twice. Use the Library catalog to find music in a number of ways:

By Author - For example, type "Dylan, Bob" to see all of the Bob Dylan CDs in the library collection; "Beatles" to see all of the Beatles cds.

By Title - For example, type "Phantom of the Opera [sound recording] to find a CD recording of Phantom of the Opera.

By Subject - For example, type "Popular Music - India" to find contemporary Indian music; "Songs - Russian" to find CDs with Russian songs.

By Keyword - For example, type "day tripper" to find CDs containing the song "Day Tripper."

By Call Number - For example, type "CD 781.66" to browse through all of the "Rock" CDs. View a list of the major genres and their call numbers (pdf).
