Child Care Staff Advisory Committee
(formerly Child Care Advisory Board)

At the Council Meeting on October 14, 2008, the Sunnyvale City Council approved to transition the previous Child Care Advisory Board (CCAB) to a Staff Advisory Committee, RTC#08-294.

As advisory to staff, the Child Care Staff Advisory Committee will focus primarily on operations-related issues, such as assisting staff with identifying the child care needs of Sunnyvale families and providers; advise staff of emerging child care issues and community needs; assist staff in evaluating the effectiveness of activities, programs and services in the Youth, Family & Child Care Resources Program; serve as a resource/expert on child care,  early education matters and assist staff with problems solving, program development and implementation.
