The City of Sunnyvale’s Youth, Family & Child Care Resources Division is pleased to announce the Recognizing Our Child Care Community (ROCCC) program.

This program recognizes Sunnyvale child care providers who enhance the quality of child care in Sunnyvale by attending professional trainings, seminars and workshops to increase understanding of early childhood education, and other issues closely related to the well-being of children and their families.

All licensed providers in family child care homes and child care centers are eligible to participate in the ROCCC program. In order to participate, providers need to contact the Youth, Family & Child Care Resources Division in writing when they have completed a child care related training and include proof of attendance with their correspondence. They will then receive a certificate from the City, suitable for framing, acknowledging their dedication to enhancing their knowledge of children and improving the quality of child care in Sunnyvale.
