CitySkills

Created as a partnership between the City of Sunnyvale and Silicon Valley Leadership, CitySkills, a community education program, teaches people living and working in Sunnyvale how to effectively address issues with City government and take a leadership role in the community.

CitySkills has a new format for 2008, designed to more effectively meet the needs of the Sunnyvale community.  CitySkills classes will be held throughout the year on a variety of topics, including: Introduction to City Services, Conflict Resolution, Mock Council Meeting, Cultural Competency, Study Issues and Budget Issues.  In addition to the topics listed here, City staff will be looking to add new topics based on feedback from the Sunnyvale community.  All classes, which are usually 1-2 hours in length, are FREE to the public and everyone living or working in Sunnyvale is encouraged to attend.
