Mayor's Council Outreach Program
The City Council Outreach Program, launched in January 2002, provides informal opportunities for community members to dialogue with elected officials. The program uses community associations and community meeting places as venues for dialogue, allowing community members to provide input to Councilmembers on City and neighborhood issues in an informal setting.
If you would like to have a Councilmember attend one of your organization’s upcoming meetings, please call Nathan Truitt, Community Outreach Coordinator by phone at (408) 730-7472 or by email at ntruitt@ci.sunnyvale.ca.us .

"These meetings are a valuable tool because they bring a lot of people out and give us a chance to say what’s on our mind."
"It was the first time that anyone from the City visited the mobile home park. It was well-received and I would like to continue to see the City’s presence out here."
"It is a great program. It’s a chance to get the Council’s time and attention – a proactive way for Council to get involved in the community and it’s a direct line to people interested in a particular issue."
