The goal of the program is to fund neighborhood projects and events, which are planned and carried out by neighborhood associations, mobile home park residents’ associations and neighborhood groups within Sunnyvale. 

The program offers grants of up to $1000 per association or group, which must be applied for in advance and correspond to at least one of four categories: 

• Increasing communication among neighbors
• Building bridges between cultural groups
• Improving the physical condition of the neighborhood
• Enhancing neighborhood pride and identity

Important note: funding for this program may be reduced and/or eliminated due to the current fiscal climate, and pending Council adoption of the Fiscal Year 2009/10 budget in June 2009.
