TEEN VOLUNTEERING

Why volunteer? Many teens are looking for service opportunities right here in Sunnyvale. There are many reasons to volunteer:

  • To address an issue you feel strongly about like homelessness, the environment, or literacy.
  • To check out a job or career path that interests you.
  • To get experience for your college application.
  • To meet new people or find a new purpose.
  • Your school may require community service hours for graduation.

How much time does it take?  It varies depending on the opportunity.

Please note: Fingerprint clearance is required on specific opportunities and/or events.
