Aerobic Rhythms* (Adult Ed)
Low impact routines emphasizing toning,
stretching, and cardio fitness. Light weights
optional. Bring a mat.

exercises designed

strengthen and
stretch your
back and reduce
chronic pain.
With the use of
a chair, belt, and
mat, the exercises
performed in this
class will help
build a strong,
vital torso while relaxing the mind and
rejuvenating the whole body. Please bring
a mat and yoga belt and wear comfortable
clothes.

Body and Core
Strengthening
Learn proper techniques
and exercises to strengthen and condition
all muscle groups using hand weights.
Recommended to improve bone density,
metabolism, and muscle tone—a perfect
complement to regular cardio workouts.

Cardio Dance
Exercise and burn
calories to music from
all decades, helping
build cardiovascular
endurance while
improving flexibility
and joint health. It’s
ideal for active older
adults comfortable with lively dance steps
and movement patterns and is a perfect
complement to regular strength training
workouts. Standing stretches performed
before and after class. Bring a mat to class.

Circuit Training
If you don’t use it, you will lose it! This
class is designed to strengthen all your
muscle groups in a series of timed exercises
and will also focus on stretching and
breathing correctly. You will burn calories,
increase flexibility, and feel more energetic.
Bring a mat and 1-2 lb hand weights.

Gentle Mat Pilates
Stretch, Tone and Strengthen!
Stretching
is one of the
most important
exercises you
can do for your
body. This
class will safely
and gently increase your flexibility
and help tone muscles. Your everyday
activities will become easier by improving
coordination and agility. Stretching and
toning enhances circulation, reduces
stress, benefits many types of arthritis and
improves your overall health. Bring a mat,
2-3 lb. hand weights, yoga belt and wear
loose, comfortable clothes.

Total Body Fitness**
(Foothill)
Designed for those with arthritis, back
problems, or those who just want to
maintain and improve fitness. Strength and
cardiovascular training, endurance, flexibility
and bone density, warm-up, sit-and-be-fit
aerobics, back exercises, and information on
body mechanics are offered. Exercises may
be done in a chair or on the floor. Best for
individuals who are ambulatory.

Start exercising now by walking
with others who enjoy being
outdoors and share your goals
of losing weight, inches,
stress and living a healthier
lifestyle with support every
step along the way! The
class will include a warmup,
strength, balance and
flexibility exercises, and
brisk walks. Your fitness
instructor will help you
reach your fitness goals.
Chart your miles and celebrate
your accomplishments at the end
of class. Bring a pedometer, walking
shoes and water bottle to class.

Zumba Gold
Zumba, created by fitness trainer and
choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez, is
a fun workout to a fusion of Latin and
international music. The class has been
modified for active older adults and
features interval and resistance training for
cardio conditioning and muscle toning.

Come experience Iyengar Yoga! Yoga is
a powerful tool for relieving stress and
bringing peace and calmness to your life.
Yoga helps to strengthen your body and
