The Sunnyvale Municipal Code 10.16.160 prohibits the parking of a commercial vehicle in a residential district for more than 5 hours.  Exceptions:

• Pick-up trucks, station wagons or similar sized vehicles.
• While loading or unloading property and additional time is necessary to complete the work.
• When the vehicle is parked in connection with, and in aid of, the performance of a service to, a property and more time is necessary to complete the work.  The vehicle may be parked on the property, or in the block near the property.
