Neighborhood Watch

Want to know the best crime prevention tool around your home? - a good neighbor!

The Neighborhood Watch program increases communication between police and neighborhoods by encouraging neighbors to look out for each other and to expose potential thieves before they strike.

Neighborhood leaders plan and implement the program with guidance from the police department.  An officer is available, by appointment, to speak at Neighborhood meetings.  For more information, or to schedule an appointment call 408-730-7140.

HOW TO REPORT A CRIME:

  • Call 911
  • Give your name.
  • Describe the event briefly and state concisely what, where, when and how it happened and if known, who did it.
  • State if the crime is in progress, or has it occurred.
  • Describe the suspect's sex, race, age, height, weight, hair color, clothing, accent, any facial hair, and other distinctive charicteristics.
