Codes

The Unified Program (UP) was created by Senate Bill 1082 (1993) to consolidate, coordinate and insure consistency in the administrative requirements, permits, inspections and enforcement activities for all Certified Unified Program Agencies (CUPAs). The codes and regulations listed below authorize the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS) Hazardous Materials Compliance Unit to implement CUPA requirements.

The Book Publishing Company maintains the Sunnyvale Municipal Code on-line. The official written version may be found in the City Clerk’s Office, 456 West Olive Avenue, or at the Sunnyvale Public Library, 665 West Olive Avenue.
