Business Development

Emergencies and disasters can occur without warning and while you are at work, home, school or in your car. They include: personal injuries, fires, explosions, chemical spills, toxic gas releases, natural disasters such as tornadoes and floods, and man-made disasters such as riots and terrorist activities. Anticipating emergencies and pre-planning your response can greatly lessen the extent of injuries and limit equipment, material and property damage.

Local businesses are responsible for the welfare of their employees and should implement an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and organize an emergency response team as a first line defense in case of an emergency.

The objective of any ERP is to provide a safe environment for employees during an emergency and to limit the loss of property. When disasters or emergencies occur your company's ERP, can significantly affect the extent of damages and injuries sustained.

A well-trained emergency response team coupled with a detailed emergency response plan can help augment the capabilities of your company and city services during & following a disaster.
