Hazardous waste must be properly disposed to prevent pollution to our land, water and air. In an effort to preserve the safety and health of our environment, the City of Sunnyvale hosts hazardous waste collection events every third Friday monthly, (except December). Business hazardous waste is not accepted at residential events on Saturdays.
Businesses are required to make appointments to dispose hazardous waste. A minimum collection fee of $40 will apply and any additional fees assessed will depend upon the type and quantity of waste.
