Q. On occasion I have more garbage than will fit in my cart.  What can I do with the extra garbage?

A. If you have extra garbage you can purchase an extra garbage tag for $6 at one of the locations listed on the chart below.

Q. Can I put my extra garbage in a cardboard box for collection?

A. No, cardboard boxes with extra garbage cannot be collected. Please follow the instruction below when preparing your extra garbage:

• Bag the extra garbage in a 35-gallon (or smaller) plastic bag.
• Maximum bag weight is 30 pounds.
• Stick the tag on the front of the bag with the tag facing the street.
• Place curbside for pick up on your collection day.
