Finished Landscape Compost

Specialty Solid Waste and Recycling collects yard trimmings throughout the Sunnyvale community and processes the material as mulch for top dressing soil or for composting. 

Finished landscape compost from Z-Best Products is also available for pick-up at the SMaRT Station^®. The finished compost product is available to residents of Los Altos, Mountain View, Palo Alto and Sunnyvale (with a limit of one truck load per week).  There is no charge for either composted material or mulch. Please bring your own shovel and container to load and transport material.

Sunnyvale residents are invited to register for a Compost Workshop and learn how to make their own compost.  Attend a workshop and purchase a compost bin for just $35.00!
