Compost Workshops
Staff from schools in Sunnyvale can attend a City-sponsored compost workshop at no charge. The workshops cover the basics of various methods of composting, including vermicomposting (composting with worms!). Workshops are held on Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon at the Sunnyvale Community Center Arboretum, 550 E. Remington Drive (near El Camino Real). Staff from schools in Sunnyvale who attend a compost workshop are eligible to receive a compost bin for their school at no charge! Biostack compost bin and worm bins are available.

Santa Clara County's "How to Compost" page provides useful composting information including basic composting, worm composting, and helpful do's & don'ts.
