Environmental Education

The Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant's Environmental Outreach Program (Outreach) promotes awareness of water quality issues and provides education on pollution prevention, water conservation, and watershed stewardship to the local community, schools and youth, businesses and industries, and to the Santa Clara Valley region through intergovernmental cooperative efforts.

Outreach maintains an extensive inventory of educational materials suitable for all ages. For K-12 materials, please see School and Youth Brochure (pdf). For Book and Video Summaries (pdf) described in the School and Youth Brochure, click the provided link.  There is an order form provided on the last page of the summaries.  For adult materials, please see the partial list below.

A selection of brochures on industrial wastewater pretreatment and stormwater Best Management Practices is also available.

To order these materials, please call Environmental Outreach at 408-730-7717, or email us at wpcp@ci.sunnyvale.ca.us
