The Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant accomplishes its mission through the following services.
Providing wastewater treatment that meets regulatory standards for discharge to the South Bay; Using byproducts of the treatment process for beneficial purposes; Promoting water conservation, pollution prevention, and watershed stewardship in the community; Managing stormwater discharges to local streams and channels; and Regulating industrial and commercial discharges to the sanitary sewer system.
