Reporting Spills and Dumping
To report spills or dumping into the storm drain, please call 730-7260 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to speak to a Plant representative. To report spills and dumping outside of these hours, you may leave a recorded message that will be responded to the following work day. If the spill or dumping creates an emergency, please call 911.
Directions to the Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant
From the North (San Francisco):
Take 101 South Exit Hwy 237 towards Milpitas. Exit Mathilda North then turn left and go under Hwy 237. Follow Mathilda as it curves around and becomes Caribbean Drive. Turn left on Borregas (1st light after the curve). Veer left slightly and pull into parking lot.
From the South (San Jose):
Take 101 North Exit Lawrence Expressway North and follow it as it curves and becomes Caribbean Drive. Turn right on Borregas (2nd light after the curve). Veer left slightly and pull into parking lot.
From the East Bay (Milpitas):
Take 880 South Exit Hwy 237 towards Mountain View. Exit at Lawrence Expressway/Caribbean Drive. Take Caribbean Drive (North). Turn right on Borregas (2nd light after the curve). Veer left slightly and pull into parking lot.
