Traffic Citation Sign-Off
Some traffic violations are license, equipment, or registration violations which can be dismissed after showing proof of correction to a peace officer (40303.5.VC). If your citation or court courtesy notice indicates that a violation requires proof of correction, you may come to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety and have the citation signed off by an Officer. The cost is $39.00 for both residents and non-Sunnyvale residents.
Please note: Proof of insurance cannot be signed off by law enforcement.
