Our Department is made up of 283 committed men and women, who answer your calls for emergency assistance, help you resolve non emergency issues, investigate crimes, provide public education, and work with schools, neighborhoods, and our business community to prevent crime and fires. You can look at how we are organized our department by clicking the  DPS Organizational Chart .  This will help you know where to start when you have a question or concern you would like to bring to us. 

When you see our Public Safety Officers in your neighborhood, or have an opportunity to mix with our staff in one of our community education programs, take the time to introduce yourself – I am sure you will agree they are the very best.
