It requires a special type of individual to be a successful Sunnyvale Public Safety Officer. Basic training, that includes a strenuous 26-week Police Academy, 18 weeks of in-field police training, a 12 week Fire Academy, and 6 weeks of an EMS academy isn't for everyone.
