Library Unveils New Multimedia Designer's Laptop Program

Participate in the Multimedia Designer's Laptop program and create your own videos, websites, slide shows and other digital projects at Sunnyvale Public Library.

The program offers Library users access to advanced graphic design software and other digital tools on a dedicated laptop that is part of the library “Maker Movement” that provides patrons the opportunity to create content through various resources.


Monday : 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Tuesday : 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Wednesday : Noon - 8 p.m.
Thursday :  11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday : 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Sunday: Noon - 5 p.m.

Photoshop: Use it to enhance, transform, resize, and stylize digital photos in your slideshows.
Illustrator:  Use it for advanced graphic design of vector art graphics, such as a logo for your small business or illustrations in that children’s book you just wrote.
InDesign: Use it for production quality page designs and layouts.

Video Production
Premier Pro: Use it for professionally styled video production to take your home videos to the next level.
After Effects: Use it to create motion graphics and visual effects for your video productions.

Website Design

How do you provide feedback?

To provide online feedback to the project management team regarding your experience with this pilot, contact us. A print survey is always collected from participating patrons at the time the Multimedia Designer's Laptop is returned, but the online form is optional.
