MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE
PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 14, 2014
 
The Sunnyvale City Council will consider an ordinance to increase the minimum wage in Sunnyvale. The minimum wage ordinance proposes a citywide minimum wage of $10.30 per hour beginning January 1, 2015 with annual increases based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) as published by the United States Department of Labor.

The ordinance will apply to entities doing business in Sunnyvale.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
When: Tuesday, October 14, 2014, 7:00 p.m.
Where: City Hall - Council Chambers, 456 West Olive Ave, Sunnyvale CA 94086

The Report to Council will be available on the City’s website at Sunnyvale.ca.gov on October 10. (Select “Council Agendas” and then select “October 14, 2014 agenda”.) The agenda will list the items as they are scheduled to be heard during the Council meeting.
