MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE
PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 14, 2014
The Sunnyvale City Council will consider an ordinance to increase the minimum wage in Sunnyvale. The minimum wage ordinance proposes a citywide minimum wage of $10.30 per hour beginning January 1, 2015 with annual increases based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) as published by the United States Department of Labor.
The ordinance will apply to entities doing business in Sunnyvale.
