Olive Ave. Ron Hansen is the author of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Mariette in Ecstasy, Atticus and other popular novels. He was presented an Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He is the Gerard Manley Hopkins S.J. Professor in the English Department at Santa Clara University and has taught fiction and screenwriting at Stanford, Cornell and other universities.
