SUNNYVALE SCHEDULES PUBLIC BUDGET MEETINGS
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale City Councilmembers will host a series of community meetings to inform the public and gather input about the City’s current budget crisis. Sunnyvale City Councilmembers are interested in receiving community input addressing the crisis. All meetings will be taped and televised on KSUN Channel 18. Or visit www.ci.sunnyvale.ca.us/community-calendar. On April 18, the Office of the City Manager released proposed service reduction levels as part of the budget preparation process. Meetings have been held at all levels within City government to explain to staff the impact of the proposed budget; additional meetings have also been conducted with leadership of labor organizations representing City staff.
