SUNNYVALE MAYOR TO HOST “CONNECTIONS” EVENT

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale Mayor Julia Miller will host a community event, Connections: A Celebration of Sunnyvale, on Monday, November 17. The event will feature a panel discussion with local business and community leaders.

Mayor Miller established a guiding philosophy which is known as the “Five Cs.” These elements – Citizenship, Caring, Commerce, Collaboration and Community – have been the principles by which she has served as Mayor. Connections will allow the community and leaders to discuss the Five Cs and what has been accomplished in Sunnyvale.

The event is open to the public without charge and will include the panel discussion, a question and answer period and a reception following the formal presentation. Connections will be held at the Sunnyvale Senior Center, 550 E. Remington Drive, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday, November 17. While the program is offered at no charge, members of the public wishing to attend are asked to please R.S.V.P. by November 12 by calling (408) 730-7599.
