Sunnyvale Increases its Neighborhood Associations by Two
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Nearly a dozen neighborhood associations now represent Sunnyvale residents as one new association has begun meeting and a second is now being formed. Braly Corners Neighborhood Association was launched last month and its membership includes 41 households on Gladiola Drive, Hydrangea Court and the
700 block of Lusterleaf Drive. The neighborhood association grew out of a SNAP (Sunnyvale Neighbors Actively Prepare) neighborhood group that was established in 1988. The neighborhood association's goals are to implement the City's disaster preparedness program, increase neighborhood safety awareness and create a "sense of neighborhood."
