SUNNYVALE, Calif. – As part of Earth Day celebrations and to encourage re-use, the Sunnyvale Solid Waste & Recycling Program is again promoting a City-wide garage sale day, Saturday, April 24. "Freedom to Choose to Reuse" is this year’s theme. Whether you’re looking for a sailboat or a sofa, this is the time to shop.

Unlike previous years, Sunnyvale residents no longer need to list their sales with the Sunnyvale Recycling Program. Information about Garage Sale Day, how-to kits and other re-use ideas are available at the City’s Web site, www.sunnyvale.ca.gov.
