SUNNYVALE TRASH COLLECTION TO CONTINUE UNIMPEDED

SUNNYVALE, Calif. –Employees of GreenTeam/Zanker, operator of the Sunnyvale SMaRT Station, have begun a labor action against their employer, and have formed a picket line at the entrance to the SMaRT Station. Despite this action, Sunnyvale residents and businesses should expect trash collection services to continue. GreenTeam/Zanker is a contractor with the City of Sunnyvale. The City has had an excellent working relationship with GreenTeam/Zanker and expects they will be able to continue serving the City without significant interruption.
