 SUNNYVALE HOMICIDE UPDATE

 SUNNYVALE, Calif.Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS) detectives are continuing their investigation of the October 12 shooting that left two men dead. Four adults and two juveniles were arrested in less than 24 hours in conjunction with the homicides. Investigators believe that one of those in custody was the person who fired the weapon.

Based on investigative leads, detectives have been searching in the area of Mary and Evelyn Avenues in
Sunnyvale for the firearm used in the shooting, but thus far have not been able to locate it. DPS spokesman Byron Pipkin has cautioned that if a resident finds the firearm, they should leave it in place without disturbing it and immediately call 9-1-1 to inform Sunnyvale DPS of the location of the firearm. Anyone with information or tips about the shooting is asked to call Sunnyvale DPS at (408) 730-7110.
