ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW FOR
SUNNYVALE'S MATHILDA AVENUE BRIDGE PROJECT

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – The City of Sunnyvale has made an environmental impact  document available for public review for its Mathilda Avenue bridge rehabilitation project. The document may be viewed online at www.sunnyvale.ca.gov/ Departments/Public+Works/Transportation+and+Traffic or in person at the Sunnyvale Public Library, 665 W. Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale. Comments on the document will be received until January 27.

The project will rehabilitate the existing Mathilda Avenue bridge over Evelyn Avenue and the Caltrain railroad tracks in downtown Sunnyvale. The project will widen the bridge by approximately 25 feet, reconstruct existing pedestrian structures, replace the existing southbound off-ramp with a new loop ramp, construct a cul-de-sac at the north end of Charles Avenue, install new sidewalks and a new traffic signal, and slightly realign Evelyn Avenue.

For more information about the project, please call Sunnyvale’s Transportation and Traffic division at (408) 730-7415, TDD (408) 730-7515, or e-mail pubworks@ci.sunnyvale.ca.us.
