DOG GONE IT! POOCH IS LOOKING FOR HER HOME

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS) Animal Control officers are trying to help out a dog found in a Sunnyvale Park. The young, adult Pitbull Terrier was found in the Orchard Gardens/John Christian Greenbelt area of north Sunnyvale.

According to animal control officer Michelle Morgan, the white-with-black dog was wearing a pink nylon color and a black leash. A multi-colored tug-toy was found with the dog. Morgan said the dog was reported to DPS in the late afternoon of January 10, and may have been in the park from earlier in the day. Animal control officers brought the dog in to provide her shelter from the rain and to try to find her home.
